The Importance of Gut Health
This post is sponsored by Country Life Vitamins.
A healthy gut is important. Why? Your gut impacts your entire body - your immune system, hormones, skin, energy, mood, sleep, all of it. Many have begun placing a larger emphasis on having a healthy gut as part of their personal wellness routine. In fact, some people say that a healthy gut is the root of all wellness.
It’s also important to stay balanced and consistent. Many of you know that I travel frequently, so the time zone change or difference in temporary diet (if it’s vacation, you need to indulge a bit, right?) can affect my gut and sometimes I don’t wake up feeling my best. I started to take supplements as part of my morning routine so that even when I travel, I have a bit more balance and consistency. I’ve been taking Gut Connection by Country Life to help improve overall quality of health using a probiotic-free approach. Gut Connection has vitamins that target the gut, and the line is composed of 8 different scientifically formulated supplements that connect the gut to different health issues. Although they have eight different formulas, here are the three that I’ve been using:
Gut Connection Digestive Balance - to help improve digestion and reduce discomfort and bloating
Gut Connection Sleep Balance - with 5-HTP, which is involved in natural production of melatonin, which helps regulate sleep
Gut Connection Stress Balance - with sensoril, to help equip the body to deal with stress, fatigue and irritability
I would love to hear about your gut journey! I encourage you to find healthy ways to improve your gut health so that you wake up feeling like the best version of yourself. We get one life and one body, so cherish it and decide what’s best for it.
